Foil wound transformer

Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve workability by providing an arrangement in which a metal plate to which a lead wire is soldered or welded and a metal sheet are layed one upon another so that the pressure-welded portions of the two becomes an outer edge, thereby eliminating the necessity of a large-sized pressure welding apparatus having deep bosom. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate 3 and a lead wire 2 are previously soldered or pressure- welded at a plane A. The metal plate 3 to which the lead wire 2 is fixed and a metal sheet 1 are arranged so that the outer end of the side of the metal plate 3 to which the lead wire 2 is not fixed overlaps the outer edge in the peripheral direction of the metal sheet 1, and the outer end and edge of these metal sheet 1 and metal plate 3 are fixed to each other by low temperature pressure welding. Since the lead wire 2 is soldered or welded to the metal plate 3, it becomes unnecessary to directly fix the lead wire 2 to the metal sheet 1 through soldering or welding, eliminating deforma tion or melting of the metal sheet 1. Moreover, since the pressure-welding faces of the metal plate 3 and metal sheet 1 are positioned at the outer edges of the metal sheet 1 and metal plate 3, a large-sized pressure welding apparatus having deep bosom becomes unnecessary, and pressure welding can be performed by a small-sized pressure welding apparatus.
